Overview

The streets of Queen City belong to the notorious Durrant crime family until the emergence of a shadowy figure known only as the Stranger. As Queen City's finest track a deranged serial killer, grizzled yet burnt out Detective Patches O’Brien must overcome his own personal demons for the good of the city. About the Author

John Eric Buckley was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and raised in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He is a graduate of the former Lakota High School in West Chester, Ohio. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 1996 through 2000. Buckley graduated from Miami University in 2000 with a B.S. in Secondary Education. He now resides in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

Buckley has been writing his entire life. He has written a number of as yet unpublished short stories and a storyline for a comic book series which he later adapted into his first novel, The Worst of Times. The Worst of Times is the first entry of an ongoing series. He is currently working on the sequel, tentatively titled Stranger Times.
