This is the first book I have read by this author and what a great book to start with. The Wright Brother is book one about The Wright siblings and it's Jesen and Emery's story. Emery dated a Wright in high school but it's wasn't Jesen it was his younger brother Landon and he broke her heart, after moving back home the first thing that happens is she comes face to face with her past. Jesen doesn't recognise her at first, all he sees is the most beautiful woman he has every laid eyes on walk into Church that Sunday morning, he wants and needs to get to know her better. Will the past stand in their way, will the secrets tear them apart or will two people with trust issues fall at the first hurdle..... I loved this authors style of writing, the characters have depth and chemistry, the story grows fast enough to keep you interested without finding out the whole plot in the first few chapters and let's be honest I'm a sucker for second chance romance

I loved this book. I loved Jensen and Emery. Their sexual chemistry was off the charts! The story is about Emery moving back to her small hometown after being gone for about ten years. She's not happy to be back, and she's dreading running in to her old boyfriend, Landon Wright. He dumped her at their high school graduation and she's sworn off his family ever since. She runs in to his brother, Jensen, and they have instant chemistry. He doesn't remember her from years ago and she tries to stay away from him. Their paths continue to cross, so they decide to give in to it. But one of them soon has regrets. This story was very well written and I enjoyed every page of it. I loved all of the characters and can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

Emery has sworn off the entire Wright family ever since being dumped by one over ten years ago. When she decides to reevaluate her life and move back to her small home town, she can’t escape them. I loved the attraction/chemistry between Emery and Jensen. Jensen is quite swoon worthy! His past and his secrets are believable due to the fact that Em hasn’t paid attention to anything to do with his family for years. Some things that I’ve grown accustomed to in K.A.’s stories just weren’t there but at the end of the day not all of an author’s books are going to be the same and I am able to understand that. I am looking forward to The Wright Boss…I was stunned at first when I read the blurb but hey, if Em can date her ex’s brother why can’t her BFF date her ex? Can’t wait to see how their story goes.

Just when you thought that you had fallen in love with every 'billionaire bad boy'. Just when you swore that there would never be another romance that could keep you up nights, fighting sleep. All because you just had to read 'just one more...chapter, sentence, word'. Authoress, K.A. Linde, comes along with a plot so readable, sex so hot, and characters so delicious, that you have no choice but to open the book, take a deep breath, and hold on for one hell of a romantic thrill ride. Emery Robinson never wanted to be that girl. You know, the one that goes away to college to "broaden her horizons. Only to find herself halfway through her Ph.D. Standing in the doorway of her boyfriend/student advisor, as he tries to convince her that the hot young student on his lap 'means nothing'. No, Emery never thought that she would be that girl. The one that returns home to Lubok, Texas with her tail between her legs and her heart in her suitcase. But her she is...that girl. Home again. On the mend, and face to face with the Wright brothers. Jensen Wright knows that the last thing that he should be doing at his sister's wedding, is hooking up with the guests. But there is just something about the +1 who came with the girl from work. Something that he can't seem to resist. Something that for better or worse, Jensen has to sample, at least once. Something that he knows could mean big trouble. The Wright Brother is a book built on situations that any reader could find themselves in. Characters that one can't help wanting to get to know. Sex hot enough to melt the Ice Caps, and drama, drama, drama! But not just any drama, mind you! Never that! This is drama at its best! This is FAMILY drama! The kind that the best soap operas are made of. It is in fact, this all encompassing drama (along with the mind blowing chemistry between Emery and Jensen) that pretty makes one forget about all else. All else that is, except the overwhelming need to smash, maim, or obliterate anything that gets in the way of these two being together. That is of course when you're not falling in love with Ember's 4-year old niece, Lilly. Or watching her BFF, Heidi, fleece another unsuspecting soul at pool. Between drinks at the bar. You will note of course, that this review has purposely stayed as far away from the real meat of the situation as is possible. The reason being... There are some things that one just has to be left to experience for themselves! So... Go. Read. Thank me later! You're welcome!

The Wright Brother is the kind of book where you grab the bottle of white wine you've been saving, shut off all internet, put the do not disturb sign on your door and get ready to devour. Holy cow! KA Linde has always been a favorite of mine. But good grief she has given me a new forever book boyfriend. JENSEN. IS. MINE. You hear that, other readers? Back off. This deliciously, dirty-mouthed, seductive-eyed man is EVERYTHING that I love. Does he make mistakes? HELL YEAH. But like a grown man, he cops to them and wrights :) his wrongs. Then there's Emery. She's so damn adult (for the most part). I'd like to be her when I grow up. She knows what she wants. What's best for her. And when to call Jensen on his sh**. Her temperament and levity, along with Jensen's charisma and endearingness come together and create a perfect storm of a wickedly sexy novel wrapped in tension and humor. By far a massive must-read for me. KA Linde has hit it out of the park with her new Wright series and the set up for the next book... GAH! I cannot wait!!! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

The Wright Brother was an entertaining and angsty read. It had steam, drama, and a bit of taboo/forbidden, since the heroine had dated the hero's younger brother in high school. The story revolves around Jensen Wright and Emery Robinson and is told from both of their points of view. Overall, I liked both Jensen and Emery and rooted for them to get their happy ending, but it was a little too instalove for me. It didn't seem possible that secretive and commitment-phobe Jensen would suddenly drop all his walls and decide that he couldn't live without Emery. Speaking of Emery, she was coming off a 3 year relationship, but a month after meeting Jensen, she was professing her undying love for the man. I understand that her relationship with Mitch was already on the outs prior to the break-up and that she (and Jensen) didn't seek each other out initially for anything other than fun and distraction, but I personally just prefer a little more development and gradual build up. The drama from misunderstandings and assumptions was also a bit much and I wish that these two would have just sat down and listened to each other instead of pushing each other away. There were plenty of steamy scenes to help me get past these issues though (sigh, the cabin!), and even though the big surprise and reveal were heavily foreshadowed, I still couldn't put the book down. I really enjoyed reading about Jensen and Emery's journey to discover themselves and each other. This was a great start to a new interconnected series (I'm not sure how many books are actually planned, but there are 4 Wright siblings...), but I'm excited to read Landon's story next in book 2, The Wright Boss.

Not having read any other works by Linde before, I was really impressed with how she executed The Wright Brother. Not only was the story entertaining, but it also sweet with a bit of sexiness in between. For the last ten years, Emery has managed to stay away from the Wright family, a family she sworn off all those years ago when she was dating Landon Wright in high school. But things don't always end up like we plan them to, and Emery somehow manages to end up at one of the Wright's wedding. Ten years have definitely gone by fast, and she has changed a lot, and to her relief people don't seem to recognize who she is. Not even Landon recognizes her, but she still caught the eye of Jensen Wright and that's when things start to change for her. It's their instant chemistry at the party that she can't let go no matter how hard she tries to stay away from him. Yet, it's Jensen's persistence that brings them together in the end as well as problems that they have to solve in order to truly move on. Jensen Wright has it all, he runs the family business and he is very successful when it comes to women. He is also very protective over those he loves, and he shows that by making sure that his little sister is protected before getting married. His personal love life is non existent as he doesn't want to get involve with anyone serious. Yet that all changes when he spots Emery at the wedding, without knowing who she was, he approached her like he would any other women, but the minute he finds out who she is things begin to change. No matter how hard he tries to stay away from his brother's ex he can't, and he makes it his mission to make Emery his no matter what. I absolutely loved reading this book! Jensen is swoon worthy and caring towards Emery. He wants to protect her and give her anything she would ever want, but when secrets come out, their relationship starts to change. On the other hand, Emery is a bit all over the place at times, but she know what she wants. The scenes between the main characters are sweet and steamy that will definitely leave you wanting for more. The author really captured the characters so well through their ups and downs that it felt realistic/relatable. Overall, I would highly recommend reading The Wright Brother, it will not disappoint. :) ***ARC provided for the blog tour in exchange for an honest review.***

Um WOW!!!! That seems the most appropriate way to start this review. I was on the edge at times with this book. The Wright Brother was a book that I anticipated for what seems like forever! I am excited to know that this is the first book in K.A. Linde's Wright series. I can not wait to get the back story for the brothers!! Emery has to go back home. She really tries to stay to herself, but her BFF is not having it and makes her go out. And there we have it. She runs into Jensen Wright. She knows who he is right away. Her ex's brother. Jensen does not know who she is right away. So the anticipation is killer waiting for these secrets to come out and see if Love is worth the fight. Emery has had a lot of heart ache. Jensen is not an easy guy. But they figure it out all in the end. Are they better off as friends or lovers? You need to get your hands on this book!! Again I have to say it, I need more!!!

I was so excited to see a new book (hopefully series:) by KA Linde! She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. The books always have the best characters with well developed relationships and story lines. I feel like I not only know the main characters, but the supporting cast as well. KA Linde did such a great job with her supporting cast, that I am hoping that all of the Wright kids will get to find their happily ever afters! Jensen and Emery meet at Sutton Wright's wedding. Emery had dated Jensen's brother in high school. Jensen had no idea who Emery was, but thought she was only in town for a little while. When he has one night with her, he knows she is something special. Jensen and Emery both have some trust issues since they both have had some bad break ups, but they are hoping that they can work this thing out between them. I loved Emery and her ability to trust Jensen even when she had a hard time. She listened to him when she really didn't want to. And the friendship with her best friend and her sister was so much fun and you could feel the love. I loved everything about Jensen. He has strong family values and will do anything for family. When he realizes he loves Emery, he knows he will do anything to keep her in his life. He is a perfect book boyfriend. Great read!

Instant attraction bonded them, will old wounds and mistrust tear them apart? Jensen could be an arrogant *** at times, but that just added to his charm. It's hard not to respect a guy that from a young age took care of his numerous siblings like the father they never had but all needed. So when loser magnet Emery crosses his path, he's quickly intrigued by her. Emery likes what she sees, but not the drama it entails. Her history with the Wrights was painful and she would rather keep her distance. Too bad that's not an option. The Wright Brother blends broken hearts, scandalous pasts and a surprisingly sensitive romance to create a touching story of new beginnings and happy endings. K. A. Linde in my eyes is one to watch.

The first in a new series by the "Queen of Angst" - K.A. Linde - introduces us to a family of five siblings that live in Lubbock, Texas. The Wright family is extremely wealthy, but they have always kept their roots planted in this smaller town instead of the big city with big brother Jensen stepping up after their father died to run the family business. Emery Robinson is working towards her doctorate - only having her thesis left to defend - when she walks in on her boyfriend/professor in a compromising situation with a co-ed. She makes a decision to leave the program and move home to Lubbock abandoning her plans for her doctorate. Emery's best friend is still in her hometown and they immediately reconnect and are up to their old antics in no time. First on the list is attending the wedding of Sutton Wright - little sister of the guy who broke her heart... cause that will be so much fun. Billionaire CEO Jensen Wright is one of the most eligible bachelors in Texas, but he makes it a point to stay far away from local girls. While at his little sister's wedding the most beautiful brunette he has ever seen appears and he will do whatever it takes to meet her. Jensen is absolutely stunned to realize the brunette is his brother Landon's ex-girlfriend from forever ago and he is forced to make a choice. This story was everything I love about Linde's writing - from the strong heroines to the swoon worthy hero and her angst filled love to her smoking hot sexy times she pulls me into her world and captivates me ever single time. I am looking forward to the next story - The Wright Boss - coming soon :)

When Emery was in high school, she dated Landon Wright. Now, ten years later, she meets his older brother Jensen at a movie, and she finds herself drawn to him in ways she was not drawn to Landon or any previous man. Sure, the timing is bad. She's back in town after a disastrous relationship implosion, hardly in a good place emotionally or psychologically for a relationship. The thing is, though, when the (w)right person comes along, you can't control the timing. This seems to be a theme of sorts in K. A. Linde's book. Nothing happens according to plan. Characters who think they have control do not, and characters who think they have ceded control discover that it's theirs to keep. The beginning of the book frustrated me because Emery's three-year relationship ends spectacularly, yet it doesn't seem to affect her all that much. She rather blithely leaves it all behind. She tries to explain why she was able to abandon her life's plan so easily, but it doesn't quite click. Later, though, I did come to see that Emery is a survivor, first and foremost, so when she appears to have lost something, she quickly recalibrates and finds a new focus. She isn't one to dwell on the pointless. Jensen is a bit different. He doesn't so much move on as willfully ignore. This doesn't work out so well. Whereas Emery jettisons mistakes before they can drag her down, Jensen pretends they don't exist. But they do, and no amount of wishful thinking can get rid of them. The romance that brews delivers the quiver, girls. The sexy times are hot, wonderfully detailed, and just so thigh-squeezingly awesome. Unfortunately, there is a subplot that is dispensed with almost as economically as Emery's relationship. What is intended to be a big mystery in fact has its resolution telegraphed quite broadly. Nonetheless, this is a fun, hot book. And the hints Linde drops at the end regarding the next book in the series definitely piqued my curiosity. I can't wait to spend time with another Wright brother.
