About the Author

Jeanelle Y. Smith is a compassionate and remarkable young woman who has written an imaginary, serious, and comical description of her unique childhood experiences.
While working in a public library for many years, reading lots of books, and meeting many authors, she began writing short stories about her childhood and young adult experiences in hopes of becoming one herself. She wants to write books in numerous categories that will allow her to expand her writing skills. She feels her works are stories people can relate to, read over and over again, and share with family and friends. This is her second book. She has also written a romance book titled It Feels So Good.
Born in Georgia, she attended segregated public schools until the age of thirteen and graduated from an integrated high school four years later. She attended college in the District of Columbia to pursue a nursing career, which later led to her employment with federal and county government agencies.
She has two sons, four grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, and many memories of her beloved husband.
