Think on These Things
In today’s world we are bombarded with information. Our brains are overloaded with messages from family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, church members, and the media. Some messages are good, and some messages are bad. But amidst all of the clutter, God calls us to think about Him and keep our eyes fixed on the things of heaven. Think on These Things helps readers do just that—focus on the Word of God and its sure promises.

About the Author

Velma Beavon is a mother to three sons, a grandmother to six grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. At age eighty-four, she has the motivation, energy, and spiritual vision of one just beginning her career.
A resident of Dayton, Montana, Velma and her husband live on the shores of Flathead Lake, which is a short boat ride from Wild Horse Island, where they enjoy taking guests for hikes to view Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep, wild horses, and other wildlife.
Velma has always had a heart for encouraging others. Whether helping with Pathfinders, women’s ministries, children and adult Sabbath Schools, or community Bible studies or Vacation Bible School programs or going on mission trips abroad, she has always served where she was needed. Velma’s pen is often found writing notes of love and encouragement to family and friends. She is willing, and God made her able!
