Thanks to Wunderkind PR and Razorbill Books for providing me with a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Shortly before the holiday season began, Wunderkind PR was gracious enough to send me this finished copy of Colin Furze’s This Book Isn’t Safe. I was so excited to snag this beast because I had my niece in mind. She’s super creative and loves experimenting, so I knew this would be the perfect book to add to her Christmas stack. It. Was. A. Hit! Colin’s Book is not only loaded with experiment how-to’s, but it’s also hilarious, easy to comprehend, and loaded with fun facts and stories. My niece already has our spring calendar all planned out (Midwest winters aren’t the most conducive to outdoor experiments), starting with the concrete-crusher boots. If you’ve got a crafty, creative, inquisitive youngster in your life, this is definitely a book worth checking out.
