Through Kingdom Come: A Matt Striker Novel
Who will stop the American Hiroshima if the finest counterterrorism expert is taken out of the game?

Matt Striker is a man without a rudder. He has killed once too often and has suspended himself from duty. In escaping to his childhood haunt of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom he expects to rejuvenate himself, or just quit altogether. To him, the Kingdom is solitude, safety and reflection. But he’s wrong.

Beset by the town bully and beguiled by the beautiful town widow, Matt’s solitude is churned into murky challenges from the get-go. In the background, the tentacles of an unlikely terrorist plot reach out through the Kingdom and Matt is swept up.

The backwater town of Big Larch Pond becomes the first battleground of a horrific attack. Will Matt rise to the occasion, or will he implode? Nothing less than New York City hangs in the balance.

About the Author

L. Allen Veach is known mostly as a serial entrepreneur. He spent years in the financial service industry, started a company from scratch and grew a national brand before selling the company. After taking several years off to research and write Through Kingdom Come, he started a small merger and acquisition company. Currently he is working on two sequels to Through Kingdom Come. The next in the Matt Striker series is Blue Ridge Crank. Hang on to your seats as Matt and Detto come back gangbusters, mounted on some serious iron. When not writing or facilitating mergers, Allen rides motorcycles, hikes, boats and enjoys the mountains of the Western Carolinas. Prior to living in the south, Allen was a resident of Vermont and frequent visitor to “The Kingdom”. Allen’s philosophy on life is smile a lot, kiss your wife, hold tight to loved ones, pet your dog, ride the tail of the dragon, listen intently and thank a Veteran every chance you get!
