Tommy's Cave

Orphan Tommy is passed from pillar to post and is so unhappy with his latest strict foster family where he is not allowed to make friends and escapes to find something better in the world.

Dreaming of streets paved with gold, he wanders along and his food runs out and he is befriended by an older street urchin in the big city, where he learns of a different existence in a peaceful group.

But there's trouble brewing with another, more bullying group of street kids who want everything for nothing and move into their camp and scatter them to the wind.

He eventually finds a cave in the middle of nowhere that suits him down to the ground, but the one thing he is lacking is company, someone to talk to, so he sets off back into the city again in his search for companionship.
