I enjoyed this book so much that I only put it down so my tattoo artist could do some work on me! WONDERFUL journey that the author takes from her own experience as a woman being inked for the first time after years of really wanting to 'join the ranks'. Aside from her own personal experience, the author gives a light look at the history of modern tats, the seedy side, the glam aspect, the dos the dont's and the celebrities that have enjoyed ink! VERY enjoyable was reading about the tattoo artists nationwide who work day to day in this profession...one of whom is about to ink ME for the first time! If you're thinking about ink, or have already joined the family of tattooed people world wide, you'll really enjoy this book!

I reallt felt this book was vague covering the bases off tatoos and piercings.
