Russell Thornberry lives in Wetumpka, Alabama, near Montgomery, where he is the editor of Buckmasters Magazine. He is also the author of Derrydale's Hunting the Canadian Giant.

These are campfire stories of the best kind, told honestly and with all the juicy details. This book is an excellent one to pick up from time to time, reading just a chapter here and there. But be prepared, after the first couple chapters, you may just have to polish the whole thing off in one, fireside-armchair sitting.
