Overview

Once in a lifetime a book comes along that will change the course of your life and shoot you soaring into the atmosphere with your dreams. This is not that book.

"True Stories - We Made Up" is a collection of slightly embellished, mostly true short stories that will tickle your soul and remind you of simpler times. Times when reality was a foreign word, grilled cheese was every food group, and the sting of rejection only lasted until someone mentioned candy. See the world through the eyes of the younger versions of ourselves. Let the adrenaline of a childhood game course through your veins again*. Smell the fear of speaking in front of your whole school. High-five everyone you come in contact with for a week. Whatever you do though, make sure you get this book. This book will help you do your dishes, and take out the trash after dinner**. This book will make your children behave when you have company over***. If you are disappointed with this book, then its possible you cant read****. So, join us on the journey through our childhoods, and rediscover your own along the way.

*The authors of this book are not responsible for any injury resulting from trying to relive your childhood while reading this book. Seriously, don't even try it.
**This isn't even possible.
***Only if you send them to Grandpa and Grandma's house with the copy of this book, that way they aren't in the house.
****We apologize if you cant read, but if youve gotten this far then youre doing well.

About the Author

Michael Johnson is the second born of the three Johnson Brothers, and has a knack for getting concussions. With over 10 years experience in media duplication, distribution, and publishing, he has set his sights on becoming a part of the world he is so familiar with. As an avid blogger, his writing has taken many forms; from religious to fictional, and political to light-hearted, he is certain to bring a balanced perspective to the world of literature. Aside from writing, he loves being a motivational speaker to Shetland ponies, and befriending mountain lions. He currently lives in Washington, with his wife, Cassie. His brothers are impatiently awaiting nephews and nieces.

Chris Johnson, brother to Michael, and the youngest of the Johnson Brothers, has an affinity for growing beards and being outrageously handsome. Hailing from Washington, but spending most of his adult life in Oklahoma, Chris has an unusual blend of mountain man and Midwest charm which has shaped his personality and writing style. With experience in media duplication, distribution, and writing music reviews, he is venturing into the world of literature with enthusiasm and a large helping of sarcasm. Some people call him a "Twitter sensation" and everyone else calls him good looking.

David Beebe II hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has spent most of his life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he worked as a window washer at a parking garage, a warehouse worker, a janitor, and a product manager for a traveling speaker. This combination of all-American, hard working jobs, and adventures with a group of wizards, led him to putting pen to the pad and sharing his life and thoughts with the world. He enjoys Bob Dylan, cuddling, and long Crip walks on the beach. He currently resides in Michigan, but his heart belongs to the ever-expanding road. His beard is available 24/7 as a shelter for any damsel in distress.
