When I requested this book from Netgalley I didnt know it was part of a series. I'm not gonna lie it was the cover that caught my eye. I will be going back to read the others. But this one was great. Stephen reminds me of my DaddyDom.

What happen to purchasing a book and getting the whole story in one book? This waiting for the next part is driving me nuts? I love this story, books 1,2,&3. It made me sad at times but this was a love story I throughly enjoyed. I'm not into the whole BDSM theme the books nowadays seem to be based around, but after reading this I have an understanding I didnt have before. Dont get me wrong, I love me an Alpha male in any shape for or fashion and in books. But this gave me a side to a true Dominate that I hadnt read before, in my opinion. Stephan & Brianna stole my heart. Please let the next book be worth the wait.

Truth picks up right where Need left off with the reemergence of Brianna's father, John. Her world is tipped on it's axis once again as John's presence presents even more problems. When Brianna has a problem, it automatically becomes Stephan's as well. Brianna faces hurdle after hurdle. At several points in the novel, I wasn't sure how she would be able to pull herself out. It seemed that the poor girl could not catch a break. Hayes was able to write such an accurate portrayal of a young woman attempting to break free from the violence forced upon her. She learned to take that horrible experience and bring about a loving relationship with Stephan. Stephan faces his own demons in this installment. With everything Brianna is dealing with, he has the added responsibility of running his company and finding a way to make the man who tortured Brianna pay. Stephan is written as such a complex character, not as one might expect of a Dom persona. He is firm in his assignments with Brianna, yet loving with her body and her soul. I applaud Hayes on her ability to keep the series moving with an intricate storyline intending to entertain, educate, and titillate the reader. I felt a genuine connection with both Stephan and Brianna as their lives began to spin out of control. I knew going into this novel, there would be one more in the series. If I had the ability to fast forward to the release of the next book, I would. I NEED to know what happens next. The ending of this book left me panting for more. I eagerly await the conclusion to this phenomenal series. Thank you to Sherri Hayes, Jitterbug PR, and The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

The author has a unique writing style that takes me a few pages to get into, but after a few pages, I can’t stop reading. Truth starts exactly were Need left off. I don’t want to say much about the cliffy in Need in case anyone who has not read it. However, I loved that we start exactly where we left off. I was worried that the author was going to do a “3 months later.” In Truth, we see how Brianna has progressed since Stephan saved her from Ian, her capturer, 3 months before. Brianna and Stephan’s relationship is continuing, but there are still many obstacles that Brianna still has to overcome. “Losing my parents paled in comparison to what the woman in front of me had lived through, yet she never gave up, never stopped trying.” Characters: Stephan is still very protective of Brianna. Brianna is getting stronger every day, but some days are still worse than others. She still hears those voices of her captures. Stephan, a Dom, is patient with Brianna, but at times, I worried what he will do if she is never really ready to “practice” his lifestyle. Positives: The story is unique. I have never read a story like this before where a girl is bought from “torture.” The other thing that that I love about this story is that I honestly don’t know what is going to happen to these characters. The intimate scenes between Brianna are very enduring. Negatives: I thought that at book #3 Brianna would have progressed a little more than she had. However, it has only been three months since she has been away from Ian’s torture. Stephan sometimes talks to Brianna like a child. Maybe that is the “Dom” talking to his “Sub.” Bottom line: I hope we do not have to wait another whole year before book #4 comes out. OMG, the cliffhanger!!! I can’t wait for that sequel. Sherri Hayes has a great story here. Book Format: A copy was provided by The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.

~Reviewed by ANGELA & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog It has been quite a journey for Brianna. After Stephan had rescued her from sex slavery and helping her heal, it is in this book that you truly see Brianna’s progress. She had transitioned from being helpless to making decisions on her own. If you’ve read Slave and Need, you know her past had truly broken this young girl physically and mentally. While my heart broke for her then, it is now empowered and cheering her on to finally live her life. Stephan on the other hand, well, I think he’s experiencing quite the opposite. Being a twenty-four year old billionaire and a dom, he’s found himself in an unfamiliar situation. He has fallen and has lost control of the situation around him. If you remember at the end of the last book, Brianna’s father is back in her life causing chaos. Poor Stephan is out of sorts trying to do his best to protect Brianna. But by the end of this book it will be Brianna trying to protect Stephan. There seems to be a role switch coming on , and I’m betting Brianna will end up stronger than Stephan in the end. Yes, it is not over yet. The additional installment of this series was definitely a surprise. It is bitter sweet that we don’t get the happy-ever-after as expected , but it only means we get more of Brianna and Stephan’s story. I have to say though that this book is not for the faint of heart. It does contain steamy sex scenes, including leashing and bondage. The story did lack the nail-biting element that we usually see in Ms. Hayes’ books , but it didn’t prevent me from fully enjoying this novel. In fact, I have been fascinated with Brianna’s story from the start making me emotionally invested in the series. I am excited to get to the next and final installment of this series. And I have no doubt that it will be a well deserved happy ending for Brianna and Stephan. *ARC review provided by publisher in exchange for and honest review

I would have never read this if I did not know it was not the last issue. I woukd have waited till the last one to be released before reading. I even went back and re read 1&2 just so I would be up to speed. Now spring seems so far away I really hate cliff hangers. I just hope they have their HAPPY ENDING (hint hint Sherri) Wonderful heart-felt story Anna really touches my heart.
