My brother was right. I always wanted my own Willow Girl.

What happened on that island didn't break me.

It twisted me.

Corrupted me.

Made me into a monster.

Although, I guess it's true what she says. You can't become something that wasn't inside you all along.

This was always going to happen.

I was always going to take Amelia Willow.

History and destiny sealed her fate. Sealed both of ours.

For months, I've been waiting.

And tonight, everything will change.

Because tonight, I'll collect my own Willow Girl.

Author's Note: Twisted is a standalone spinoff of the Dark Legacy Duet. No cliffhanger!

Short and sweet. Just wish there had been more character development

This was a read clouded in mist, as both Amelia and Gregory were always just a bit to the side. A little not of the norm, but still managing to fit in. Gregory thought he had what he wanted, and then walked away from it. Amelia didn’t get what she wanted and couldn’t walk away from it. Then the fates brought them together, or rather, Gregory decided they should be together As different as they seem, the more they are together, the more similar they realize they are. The darkness they crave, it is satisfied by the other. The broken pieces are easily arranged when they are together. The ache that life has left within themselves, is soothed when they are together Their twists and turns compliment each other, and neither was missing out, they just needed to be together

Donna L 5.0 out of 5 starsDeliciously Decadent February 19, 2019 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase Do you like a book that sets your pulse racing and your body trembling? Then Natasha Knight's Twisted is the book for you.Talk about sensory overload,it's dark, decadent, compelling and definitely thought provoking. Gregory Scafoni was full of hate and bitterness. He was never the one anyone wanted. He was never the one anyone chose to love. That is until the night he kidnaps Amelia Willow.Had he saved her from a terrible future or will he destroy her.Taken against her will,Amelia's body responds to his brutality.Does this make her as twisted as him.He both terrifies and excites her at the same time. His hands both scorched and soothed her skin, the dictotomy was deliciously intoxicating. He was determined not to make the same mistakes as his brother. He won't coddle Amelia and is distant and closed off.But he is trapped by his own wants, his hate makes the burn sizzle. They are both trapped by the ghosts of their pasts, but it's the living that you have to watch out for.As Amelia spent more time with Gregory, she saw the beautiful, tortured glimpse of a man beneath the monster. When his hatred finally turned to love, he was determined to never let her go despite all hurdles in his way.He only feels whole when their together. The ashes of their pasts are now only memories. Natasha Knight writes in a way that grabs you so tightly that it's hard to breath.I am in awe of her ability to keep coming up such compelling stories. The personalities of the characters stayed true and their thoughts pulled you in so deep that I felt their every emotions. The plot followed the antagonist on a journey of discovery encompassing hate, desire, revenge and ultimately love.It wove magic between two broken souls. Bring out the next series.

I wanted Gregory to get his own story, his own Willow Girl and Knight delivered. If you haven't read the first two books might I suggest you go no further- without that background of events nothing that happens within these pages will have any real impact You will not understand the depth of betrayal that Gregory feels towards his brother and why You will not comprehend the almost painful need that drives his desires to acquire and own a Willow Girl The wraiths that haunt the edges of the darkness will make no sense Amelia will be just another girl And this will be just another story For the rest of us - I went in with so many allusions as to how this would play out - Nothing prepared me for what unfolded- This was a beautifully detailed romance that brought the reader past the darkness This did not have the physical darkness we experienced at the beginning of the series - This was more. This was Gregory raw and unabridged - It answered so many questions for me. Amelia I never even saw coming! There were so many ghosts that needed to be laid to rest. I still have a lot of questions that need to be answered - We have an HFN - But what about little Scafonis? What about Ethan? Mom? Come on like you don't want to know what she did? What happened to her?

This book was anything except what I expected. It was much, much more. I was thrown into not only a romance but a mystery surrounding both families involved and it's not over yet. You have personal vendettas within each family and the more you delve into them the more you come to realize you still want to know more. Amelia is a young woman trying to find her way out and who she is. She is expected to just be a Willow Girl but as time goes on not only does she learn she is more than that but so does Gregory who is determined to claim her. Gregory a brother who is always considered just second best, the last in line and who can never match up even his own demons torment him so that is until Amelia and within her he finds both of them are nothing like what the families or they themselves have come to believe. But this story holds treachery, deceit, darkness that lurks even further than either family curse. I was spell bound in this book. Natasha never fails to surprise me. This book had me winding down dark forbidden corridors seeking truths that had been left buried for centuries. I wish I could give this story more than a 5 stars because it deserves more. Natasha is an author that no matter what she writes is an automatic buy for me. If you want an author who will take you places you've never been then read Twisted and all of Natasha's other dark romances.

After reading Taken and Torn (The Dark Legacy Duet) and seeing Sebastian and Helena's hard-fought HEA. I couldn't help but wonder....whatever became of Gregory Scafoni, the man who seemed to be even MORE damaged, if that's even possible, than his older brother? We have the answer to that question, and many more, in the extremely aptly-named Twisted!!! All I can say is, things are NEVER as they appear to be in a Natasha Knight tale! This one had my head and my heart spinning in all the BEST ways! When last we heard from him, Gregory had helped put an end to the UNBELIEVABLY dark and intriguing Scafoni/Willow legacy...and left the island a broken, lonely, very angry man. Helena had sensed all that Gregory hid beneath the cruel, hard facade and we learn EXACTLY what he's made of in this surprisingly EMOTIONAL love story between two people who seem to be very different but in reality are so very much alike! Amelia Willow is Gregory's soul mate in sooooo many ways and the way their story unfolds was truly gripping and deeply satisfying! The roller coaster ride to the exiting and soul-satisfying conclusion was EPIC and the intense emotions will stay with me for a long, long time! I think a part of my heart will forever belong to Gregory Scafoni and I'm okay with that! I'd like to mention too, that even though Twisted CAN be read as a standalone I would STRONGLY urge you to read Taken and Torn first in order to get the entire AWEMAZING experience that reading these novels will give you!

I’ve been waiting for Gregory’s story every since I finished Taken and Torn. And know we have Twisted which is the perfect tale for Gregory and Amelia. The story had me immediately engrossed in their lives, Gregory’s heart is so broken and twisted it’s hard to see how dark his soul is. And Amelia seems so confused, she could surprise us with anything. I was tongue tide with intense emotions and engrossed with the thrilling, bedroom action, when Gregory and Amelia heated up the pages. It’s definitely a must read, the outcome will astound you. It’s going to be a short and extremely dark series. But I loved it, and I highly recommend it!

Twisted by Natasha Knight - 5 +++ stars You read the title Twisted and might think that inside this book there will be a lot of messed up dark things happening and they might but for me the only truly twisted thing about this book is that it has an actual ENDING. Seriously when I read Taken ( book 1 of the dark legacy duet ) my mind was having a really hard time coping with the plot and the direction the book was taking. Because you see I am no stranger to dark stories but this one made my eyes pop and heart stop and once I got to the end I understood something that my mind already knew and that is how much of a talent Natasha Knight truly is! It doesn’t matter what kind of a book she writes, what she creates is in a way larger than life because it draws you in and keeps you hooked long after you finish the book. I needed this book, to be honest I might have begged for it because I wanted to know which path Gregory Scaffoni took, where did he disappear to, what made his leave so abruptly. And a true writer listens to the fans and gives them what they want and need. I will not write an essay about so many factors of this story that make it great because you will have to read it for yourself to feel the true experience of it. I loved every word of it and couldn’t have asked for anything more. All the missing pieces fell into place and the puzzle was complete. The conclusion of Gregory’s story was just how I imagined it and my heart loved it. This book AND Taken + Torn are an absolute must reads and I strongly recommend them. You will not regret a single second spent reading them.
