About the Author

NY Times and USA Today Bestselling author J.M. Madden writes compelling romances between 'combat modified' military men and the women who love them. J.M. Madden loves any and all good love stories, most particularly her own. She has two beautiful children and a husband who always keeps her on her toes.

J.M. was a Deputy Sheriff in Ohio for nine years, until hubby moved the clan to Kentucky. When not chasing the family around, she's at the computer, reading and writing, perfecting her craft. She occasionally takes breaks to feed her animal horde and is trying to control her office-supply addiction, but both tasks are uphill battles. Happily, she is writing full-time and always has several projects in the works. She also dearly loves to hear from readers! So, drop her a line. She'll respond.

Unbreakable SEAL by J.M. Madden is an amazing read. This well written book has fantastic characters. Ms Madden's characters are always a perfect fit for her books, Max and Lacey's story is another fine example. There is plenty of drama and suspense to keep readers invested in this dynamite story. Unbreakable SEAL is a quick read and perfect for those with limited time for reading. I loved this story and look forward to reading more from J.M. Madden soon. Unbreakable SEAL is part of the Lost & Found Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I purchased a copy of this book from a book event/signing.

J.m Madden strikes again. Every book she writes is a home run. The return of Lacey in this story is wonderful. Max is just someone who has come back home from the war only to battle another war in his head. PTSD is as deadly as cancer to some people. Thank god for Lacey coming to aid max. Beautiful love story J.m..

Another excellent addition to the Embattled series. Madden has done a superb job of delineating some of the issues affecting wounded returning vets and giving them a well-deserved HEA. This story involves a SEAL returning with PTSD. And hits on the fact that there are so many like him that psychological service providers are completely overwhelmed, leading too way too common misdiagnosis and treatment. Thus it is even more satisfying to see this amazing and complicated man heal and develop a relationship with another of Madden's angel-in-disguise (not literally) heroines. Enjoy!

Cute, short and quick read..Nice addition to this amazing series. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, its better to read it after Chad's story. I'm glad that the nurse that put up with John's nasty ass behavior and language, plus helped Duncan, Chad and countless other vets finally gets her HEA! Even if it is with Max, who is a little psycho thanks to all his damn meds, but Lacey does what she does best...rescues a military man! The only thing I didn't like was having to pay like $2.99 for a 74 page book. That's a bit excessive for such a short book. The story was sweet, Lacey is a known character, Duncan, John and Shannon make a brief appearance at the end but that's not enough to charge loyal readers that amount of money for so short a book, which was more of a novella anyway, that's not right. Navy Seal Maxwell Tate can no longer tell what is real and what is not.  Everything is a haze.  The only good thing about that is it numbs him while he tries to come to grips with the loss of his team.  But things are getting a bit worse it seems everyday.   Between the feeling like spiders are crawling on him, wrecking his motorcycle and not even realizing it, and kissing an angel, he can’t recall for certain what really is going on most times.  This angel keeps helping him and he finds she helps to calm his demons.  Lacey Adams has worked with some pretty severe cases of injured warriors.   When she notices Max, she is instantly drawn to him and wanting to help.  One minute he seems coherent and the next he is miles and miles away.  And how about that kiss?  He is a gorgeous man with some serious issues.  Can she help him get the help he needs before something horrible happens to him?   Another great short by J.M. Madden!  This series is truly amazing and I can’t wait for more!  It draws you in so well that you actually feel like you are living this with them!  Great job J.M.!
