Reality becomes fantasy, or is that imagination turns into real life experience? I am fascinated byhow frequently the line between reality and fantasy is crossed in my writing practice. Writing romancenovels is an astonishing way to play with something from real life and turning into something fun,playful and perhaps a bit twisted. How amusing it is to be able to take an idea and turn it intosomething real like a living character. My characters all experience real life joy and pain, reinvention,survival and victory. They share the process of evolution and expansion. The places that I write about are all real places where I have lived or visited, from the beaches ofMalibu to the islands in Fiji and destinations in between, including the monastery in Dr. Selfish! Mymany personal interests are reflected in my stories and include fitness, wine, healthy foods (watch forsalad cookbook coming soon). I am intrigued by the spiritual world and that of metaphysics. I ownedand operated a pearl jewelry business for 13 years, so jewelry and fashion are very much a part of thenovels. You will notice that each main character is known for a signature piece of pearl jewelry thatshe wears throughout the book. I am a current member of the Romance Writers of America. Naturally love and passion are at the root of my tales, after all isn’t that what life is all about? I hopethat you are as entertained reading my books as I was writing them. Viva la passion!
