About the Author

A recently retired English/Music teacher and the mother of seven children, Janet Ollerenshaw writes for pleasure and enjoys word-craft. She feels that the experience of reading should be more than just a good story and should be enjoyed as a whole, much like listening to music. She has a Masters' degree in Educational Research from Cambridge University and studied Humanities, English and Music with the Open University. Janet currently works part-time as an exam marker for Edexcel and for Cambridge International Exam board and when not writing, enjoys travelling, gardening and spending time in the company of her numerous grandchildren.
