About the Author

Dr. Pradeepkumar, T completed his BSc (Agriculture) and MSc (Horticulture) from Kerala Agricultural University and PhD Horticulture from IARI, New Delhi. He has undergone overseas training at University of Wisconsin, USA. Acted as a member of BSMA (Broad subject Area Committee) constituted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research to formulate the National PG syllabi in Horticulture. He is also a recognized guide at national level for Joint Science Academies Summer Research Fellowship Programme for students and teachers. He has won Dr. Harbhajan singh award in vegetable science and received award in fourth and fifth Indian Horticulture Congress for his research accomplishment. He is the Managing Editor of research journal, Journal of Tropical Agriculture, published by Kerala Agricultural University. He has published 46 research papers, 7 books and contributed 9 book chapters.



Dr. Sadhan Kumar P.G. is working in the capacity of Professor and Principal Investigator of the All India Co-Ordinated Vegetable Improvement Project. He took his Ph.D from Kerala Agricultural University and he has got more than 30 years experience in vegetable research and teaching. He is the breeder of 10 high yielding varieties of vegetable crops. He has guided many Post graduate and Ph. D students and has published more than 60 research papers in the field of vegetable research and contributed 12 book chapters.
