About the Author

Born Everett, MA April 20, 1946 to teen-aged parents. Grew up poor, oldest of four siblings. Carpenter after High School. Drafted 11/15/66; served with the 4th Infantry Division in the Central Highlands of Vietnam as a scout in a reconnaisance platoon; a job which evolved into Long Range Recon Patrols, or LRRP's. 29 years as a Police Officer in Boston's transit system. Raised 7 children by two wives. Currently employed, Federal Court Security for the U.S. Marshal's Service.
