Most character details that you'll make out of nori are glued on with regular mayonnaise. If you will need something else instead, we'll mention it in the recipe.

All vegetables, such as carrots or broccoli, should be boiled in salted water before adding to each recipe. For tiny vegetable pieces, boil 10-30 seconds. For large vegetable pieces, such as broccoli florets and carrot slices, boil 1-2 minutes.
