Wading The Journey
Wading the Journey refers to the wading most people do in place throughout lifes journey that they have been destined to be involved in.
A set of wedding bands are commissioned from a local jeweler
in Scotland in the early 1800's. The jeweler goes on to engrave
the inner part of the rings with the inscription,
'Wearers are joined far past eternity'.
Thus the curse of the rings began. The young couple journey to
Southern North American in what was then known as the
Louisiana Territory. The couple sets a wedding date of July 16. The
couple would both die before the wedding date having never worn
the rings.
At this point it was realized by higher powers that the rings
were meant for the greater good, the birth of the second coming,
the blessed child. Insight of this, seven Legions were brought
together to help in the journey the rings would take, and the
protection eventually of the couple that would bring the
Blessed Child to be.
After the deaths of the first couple the rings
resurfaced every twenty-five years. Couples who came into
possession of the rings would share the same fate after picking
the same date of July 16. That was until Vance Leblanc in 1982 came
across and bought the rings in a small shop in the French Quarter.
Vance would become the first person to be in possession of the
rings and actually place one on his finger and wear it. He then
has the other delivered to the young lady he felt should have it.
Years would past and the ring on Vance's finger, with
all its power, would seek out and find its mate. Only problem
is that Vance, having given up on ever finding the one that got away
settles and asks someone else, Kylie Melancon, to marry him. Trouble begins
when he finds the wearer of the matching ring, 'Celeste Duhé.
He pursues her then tries to break it off with Kylie but she threatens
to destroy him.
The legions step in and do everything in their powers to make
sure Vance and Celeste get together and stay together. Which is
made even more difficult when Evil itself steps in. It takes all of the
Legions, along with all that’s good on earth, to help in the final
journey after the Blessed Child is born then taken by evil.
