About the Author

Eloise T. Alford, is a retired 2nd grade teacher, who developed a love for writing children’s books during her 31 years in education. Mrs. Alford began by creating stories for her students, because she could not always find the books or materials she needed for certain units she was teaching at that time. She would tell her stories to the class and they loved them so much, that they would always want her to tell them again and again. One day Mrs. Alford decided to write her stories down on paper and keep a journal of them to read each year to her class of new students. “I’m so happy that I decided to keep my stories in a journal,” says Alford. “Now the rest of the world can enjoy them too.” “This is my fourth book about Wanda and who knows how many more are to come,” she stated.
