Overview

Melanies mother was strict on her growing up, hoping her daughter would not follow in the footsteps of her older sister. She tried her best to raise her well, and keep her from them no good boys. Being strict on Melanie only backfired, and once she turned eighteen, her life began to spiral out of control. Melanie wasnt good at picking men, and that only caused pain, hurt, and sadness throughout her life. Every time she meets a man, hes always the one, and then he gets her into some type of trouble. How could a beautiful young woman grow up and go through so much as Melanie did. Life just wasnt fair for her. Then enters Maceo into her life. He was different and like no other man shes ever met. Maceo instantly falls in love with the beautiful Melanie and promised to change his life for her and the kids. What he fails to realize is, that his life will never change and forever haunt him because of the family business. They both want to be perfect for each other but the past is not finish with them. They need help and that one person to help them will be risking his life to come back out of hiding. How is Malcom Jamison mixed up in Melanie and Maceos relationship?

About the Author

My love for literature started very young, and I was reading every book possible. Then I thought, ‘I could easily write a book.’, and I did. I started folding papers in half when I was in third grade. I wrote a few sentences and drew pictures with them. That went on for awhile and I had shoe boxes full of small stories. Then I remember in fifth grade, reading my story called ‘Jaleel’s imagination’ to the whole class. I had everyone’s attention, so I went on expanding what I was writing. I was fourteen when I wrote my first 200 page screenplay. It was the best book ever to me. I wanted to show the world that one; and get a movie made out of it, but that year my family move to Ohio. I left my manuscript back at our old house in Utica, New York. I was very sad, and didn’t think I could ever write again, and I didn’t for awhile. I was eighteen when I felt I was ready again. I wrote a few manuscripts and began hoarding them to myself. In 1999, I meet my husband and he comes across one of my many handwritten manuscripts. He encourages me to get them published. “Shantel” was my first, but it wasn’t what I wanted to put out. It was a screenplay, and I wanted to write a novel. I just didn’t think I could do it. It wasn’t something I was use to. With the support of my husband and good advice he gave me, I finally changed “Shantel” into a novel and made “Murder was the case”. I instantly became addicted into writing novels and many more were created after that. I’ve had many ups and downs throughout my years of writing. I am very proud that I have accomplished many of my goals and continue to stay at it. My next step was a sequel, and I succeeded and wrote my on-going story……”Web of Scandals”.
