Wednesday Hadith: (Part One)
I know that all people should not be led as I am, and that all people should not be bothered to read Ibn al-Anbari's explanation of the favorites. I also know that knowledge of these things should be limited to a fair number of scholars, but I know that these Scientists should not prefer themselves to knowledge, or monopolize it to the exclusion of people. Rather, they should work hard so that you and people like you can rest, and work hard so that you and people like you can be happy, and extract for you from these old, neglected gardens that have long been lost, and whose era is long gone, flowers that you cannot afford. You can bring them out. Who knows, perhaps you will like these flowers, perhaps they will tempt you with their sources, perhaps they will arouse some activity and jealousy in your souls, and push you to take the risk of striving among these twisted trees and twisted branches, to extract flowers and fruits similar to what scientists produce for you.
