This is a very basic overview of EPUB3. No details.
Good introduction to EPUB 3.
Having just finished reading a set of "for free" books by beginning epublishers (and gleaning some nuggets) it was refreshing to read a book by an expert. He provided the best explanation of the epub format I have seen, without being too heavy on technology terms, just those most needed. This may intimidate a novice but if you read for general ideas you'll have a good foundation. This 72 page book has the following topics: What is an epub, explanation of what standards are, descriptions of what the standards will provide over the old set and some commentary on factors to consider. He provides just enough information to motivate you to learn more. Thanks!
It is a good book as an introduction in EPUB 3
