About the Author

Tony Barnhart is a college sports reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  He has been named the Georgia Sportswriter of the Year, is a past president of the Atlantic Coast Sports Writers Association and the Football Writers Association of America, and is on the board of directors for the United States Basketball Writers Association. He is also the Georgia regional voting director for the Heisman Trophy and the John Wooden Award. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Vince Dooley is the former head football coach for the University of Georgia and the athletic director. Among his honors and awards, he has been inducted into both the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame. Mark Richt is the head football coach at the Univeristy of Georgia. He is formerly an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Florida State University. They both live in Athens, Georgia.
