Overview

How much abuse could you witness before you acted to stop it? How much abuse could you suffer before you acted to stop it?

The abuse and trauma that Justin Tyler Gonzalez suffered throughout his childhood almost killed him. Years later, and now in a safe space, Justin recounts how divorced parents, mental and physical abuse, toxic stress, generational trauma, and LGBT discrimination have affected him and how he managed to survive.

Justin goes on to share how these events affected his life as well as his personal, tried and true, recovery techniques for healing from childhood trauma and abuse.

Justin hopes to encourage those who read this book to break the cycle of abuse in their own life. He encourages his readers to take positive steps towards healing, asking for help, and being the brave, strong, and resilient one who not only heals themselves but also future generations.
