She is the mother of three grown daughters and loves spending time with her grandchildren. She is avid gardener and has a series of garden planners. She is also a histologist certified by the American Society of clinical pathologist and has worked in the medical field for over 29 years. Her book "Understanding Our Epidemic" has promoted many changes in the health and food industries.
