About the Author

Jane Myers Drew, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, an expert in communication and relationships and a much sought-after speaker who conducts workshops all around North America. She practices in Newport Beach, California, and specializes in helping people recover from father-wounds. Many of her insights come from personal experience — her father Stephen Myers died when Jane was just 14 months old. Dr. Drew earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California Graduate Institute in Los Angeles, CA, a Masters degree from the University of Chicago and a B.S. from Loyola University of Chicago. She also studied sociology for one year in Rome, Italy. She has also created a popular, fun game called Let’s Connect! She has been frequently interviewed on television and radio, and has trained over 3,000 psychotherapists all around the country as a faculty member of the American Healthcare Institute in Maryland. Dr. Drew is the author of the books: “Where Were You When I Needed You, Dad? A Guide for Healing Your Father Wound, and “Show Me How to Love You.”
