About the Author
For years, Diane Pershing made her living as an actress and singer. She was extremely content in these professions, except for one problemthere was way too much down time, and she worried that her brain was atrophying. She'd been a voracious reader since childhood, so she took up pen and paper and began writing, first for television, then as a movie critic, then as a novelist. She started her first romance in the spirit of "What do I have to lose?' As an actress, she was already used to appearing foolishwhat was one more time?
She was lucky enough to sell that first romance and many more since. Along the way, her books have won some awards, including The Golden Quill, the Aspen Gold and the Orange Rose, and she's been a finalist for the prestigious Romance Writers of America's Rita Awards.
