Why God Permits Divorce
What does God really say about divorce?

Roger Pugh's thoughtful book takes readers on a journey that may surprise many. Beginning with personal accounts of the pain and reality of divorce, the book then turns to Scripture, carefully exploring what the Bible teaches about this deeply personal and often controversial subject.

This is not just a book of theology—it is a book of hope. It offers encouragement to those who have walked through divorce, wisdom for those wrestling with the decision, and clarity for pastors, counselors, and friends seeking to support loved ones in crisis. It provides practical guidance for those in abusive relationships, reassurance for those disillusioned with the church, and comfort for anyone longing to know that God sees, understands, and provides a way forward.

Whether read privately, shared as a gift, or used in a small group or class, this book speaks with compassion and conviction. It challenges long-held assumptions, answers hard questions, and invites readers to hear God's heart on divorce with fresh ears and an open mind.

If you or someone you love has been touched by divorce, this book offers truth, healing, and hope.
