Norman Schiffer is tasked with delivering a highly confidential letter to his aunt in Norway about an inheritance and multi-million dollar jewelry. Meanwhile, his rich uncle - Baron Herman - is liquidated precisely because of that letter while Norman is on the ship. A contract killer named Erwin follows him to get confidential documents. Two sisters, Uma and Ursel, are among the 10,000 refugees on a board. On the ship, Uma and Norman begin a love affair, while the hired killer persistently tries to find him in order to liquidate him. Then three torpedoes come out of the Russian submarine and the Wilhelm Gustloff begins to sink. The hitman has only half an hour to get to the letter, but he and Norman die in horrible sinking...
