This book brings forth psycho-social needs of Kashmir women in addition to their survival needs and facilitating their integration into society. The book examines current concerns around women's roles in Kashmir region and their changing pattern of relationship with men. The book also gives special focus on tribal women in Kashmir namely Gujjars and Hanjies. The status of disabled women in Kashmir is also given due attention. Kashmir women's desire for social freedom is highlighted along with prevalence of depression among them. About the Author

This is 6th book of Dr. Muzamil Jan. The author is working as Assistant Professor, Extension and Communication, at Institute of Home Science, University of Kashmir. The author received Young Scientist Award in 2012. She has 55 publications at international, national and state level, in addition to other five books. She has presented 26 papers in congresses and conferences.
