Maria Seferou was born in Dendron, a small village of Peloponnese in Greece, during the Second World War. She studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, and she had a successful career as a professional Civil Engineer - the first 10 years in Greece and the next 10 years in England. Just before the age of 40 she started searching for God and deeper meaning in her life. Consequently, she joined the local Charismatic Church in Harrow Middlesex, England, where slowly but steadily she experienced an inner transformation that completely changed her personality and outlook on life. Gradually she was feeling the desire to return to Greece. It took her two more years to find the courage to give up her job and step by faith into the unknown. She returned to Greece at the end of 1984, and in 1985 she had already published her first book. So she set up another blog where she uploads articles on hot issues of the day, trying, as it were, to expose the roots of the problems and suggest common sense solutions, being aware, though, that she is but another voice in the wilderness…
