Overview

Help your child become happier and healthier. The word "yoga" means "union." In yoga, we work to unify our hearts, minds, and bodies to become happier and healthier people. As parents, you can help your children to do this as well. All it takes to get started is the Yoga Kids book, which provides step-by-step picture guides to basic yoga poses, as well as yoga-inspired, kid-tested activities.

About the Author

Kirsten Hall was born in New York, NY. She attended high school in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from Connecticut College in 1996. After college, Hall worked for one year at Random House before returning to school for a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from New York University. She simultaneously taught pre-school, Kindergarten, and 2nd Grade at private schools in Manhattan.

Hall's first book was written (and published!) when she was still a child herself, in the seventh grade. Since that time, she has authored more than 140 published books on a broad range of topics including trucks, farms, fairies, handwriting analysis, Italy, sharks, dream analysis, money, espionage, and the deep sea. Her clients include Scholastic, HarperCollins, Barnes & Noble, Random House, Hinkler, Chronicle, Reader's Digest, and many more.

In addition to writing, Hall is the Administrator for the American Book Producers Association as well as the U.S. Agent for The Bright Group International, a London-based children's illustration agency that represents more than 130+ (amazing!) artists.

Hall currently resides in New York, NY with her husband and two sons.
