About the Author

Dr. Ashok K. Jhingan, (b. 1949) M.B.B.S., M.D. Medicine has worked as Senior Consultant in Medicine Dept. in Jaipur Golden Hospital and National Heart Institute. He is a visiting Consultant in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi and a consultant Diabetologist with BHEL. Jhingan started working in the field of Diabetes since 1983 and has organised Diabetes Detection and Education Camps in and around Delhi. He has written six books on diabetes and heart problems (in Hindi and English).

Dr. Ram Mohan Jhingan, M.D., is doing his fellowship in endocrinology from Temple University, Philadelphia. U.S.A. He is associated with Delhi Diabetes Research Centre and is actively involved with the educational and awareness activities of this Centre.
