Overview

The suggestions on management behaviour outlined in this book are in support of the principles of Miz-Management and the theoretical methodology for creating an ideal state of Mizery in the workplace. Miz is simply a contraction of the word miserable and therefore, Miz-Management means miserable management for Mizzies (masochists). While the purpose of this book remains vague, it attempts to outline largely unproven methodologies, supported by unimaginative examples of Miz-Management behaviour, specifically for those who want to be perceived as trying to improve their management skills, but who really want to be anything but successful.
With the best of intentions to simply fill the void for a Miz-Management behaviour guide, unfortunately it has also been inadvertently adopted by some masochistically challenged managers for Miz-Use as an inverse guide to impede the advancement of Miz-Management in the workplace. Fortunately this counter culture will not succeed because the Miz-Force is strong.

About the Author

James Alden was born in Winnipeg. Following his initial exposure to the field of ‘Miz-Management’ at the University of Manitoba he then set his sights much lower and soon gained complete familiarity with the British form of Miz-Management by securing employment as a Red Coat at Butlin’s Holiday Camp at Clacton-on-Sea. Basking in failure, he returned from Europe to further impede his education by obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
James is an internationally un-acclaimed keynote speaker, having neither lectured extensively nor taught countless Miz-Management seminars across North America. He has not written dozens of books on the subject of Miz-Management and his un-known works have not made the bestseller list for over thirty continuous weeks. James has not been honoured on several occasions, having not been awarded honorary degrees from three of Canada’s least prestigious Universities.
Today, James is not considered to be one of the foremost experts on any subject, especially Miz-Management. He has not garnered significant respect in this field, right across Canada and he has become equally un-respected internationally.
