About the Author

Jason Thornton holds a bachelors degree in criminal justice and currently works full time as a case manager in a community custody correctional facility. His experience in corrections over the past eleven years also includes working security in a medium security facility and as a probation and parole officer in a rural northern Idaho community. He has over fourteen years of experience in the military with training and duties in demolitions, small arms maintenance, and disaster preparedness. During his military service he was assigned to companies in light infantry, armor, cavalry and combat engineer units. Writing for him serves as an outlet for his restless mind and as a challenge to improve and perfect his skills.
