Robert K. Tanenbaum is an American author, attorney, and the former mayor of Beverly Hills. While still a lawyer he began his literary career with the non-fiction book Badge of the Assassin. He is the author of dozens of titles including twenty-eight novels in the Karp-Ciampi series and three true crime books. He still makes frequent television appearances as a legal expert and commentator.
