On 25th century Earth, almost two hundreds years after the last of the Seed ships have left the huddled masses behind on a polluted and war-torn planet, lives a young man named Newmark.

As a boy, Newmark was been taken in by a group of ancient surgeons, who practice their arts and extend their lives nearly indefinitely.
