A Primer on Classroom Management

Overview

This was my 38th year as a publc school teacher and I had a class that I couldn't control, much less teach.  Of course, I was on summative and better find someway to improve classroom management.  I never thought I could completely change the climate of my class in mid-year by using student engagement techniques.  After all, there wasn't any professional development that clearly showcased how to go about it!    I proud to say, I took a risk and it paid off!

For privacy issues, I decided to use a pen name in writing this primer.  Everything in my little book is true!  More professional development needs to be addressed in the area of classroom management. 

Over for my forty years, I've earned a number of prestigious awards.  Noticed I said, "EARNED!"  One of those awards was a Daily Point of Light Award from the Points of Light Foundation.
