When Denny, a twenty-six-year-old free clinic doctor who dances in a Chippendales-style revue for men in the evening and who isn’t above selling his body to men, runs afoul of a Chicago crime lord, he is offered a dance lead position and change of name to Doug McClure in Bangkok gay clubs.
