About the Author

Personal accounts of medical experiences have intrigued me since high school. We all grew up with a fear of going to the doctor even though they would cure our sickness and make us feel better. But it often meant an embarrassing rectal temperature, or getting a shot in your bottom. Back in the 1950's it was also common to get enemas. Most of the time these would be for medicinal reasons, but sometimes in conjunction with spanking as punishment. Fortunately this didn't happen to me, but it certainly was common for kids to be spanked.
I began writing spanking stories in my 20's long before there were word processors. While most of my stories are strictly from my imagination, some of them are embellishments of spankings that I was aware of in my neighborhood or at school. This was back in the 1950's and 1960's when it was common for parents to spank (although mine didn't) and for schools to use corporal punishment.
As I became older I researched corporal punishment around the world and broadened my knowledge so that I was able to write stories that were beyond my own experience.
In the age of the internet, people are now being able to anonymously share their experiences growing up and I will be able to draw on those interviews to continue to write a second volume of Spanking Stories.
