About the Author

Lee Child, previously a television director, union organizer, theater technician, and law student, was fired and on the dole when he hatched a harebrained scheme to write a bestselling novel, thus saving his family from ruin. Killing Floor went on to win worldwide acclaim. The Midnight Line, is his twenty-second Reacher novel. The hero of his series, Jack Reacher, besides being fictional, is a kindhearted soul who allows Lee lots of spare time for reading, listening to music, and watching Yankees and Aston Villa games. Lee was born in England but now lives in New York City and leaves the island of Manhattan only when required to by forces beyond his control. This is a 20 page short story or rather an essay. not worth the effort or time. Each author should have just included this essay at the back of one of their books.

Another ripoff ! This is the second short essay, not short story. Lee Child should be totally ashamed of himself for letting this happen.

Guess Jack Reacher going to partner up with someone as good as him.

This was a great collaboration! Hopefully there will be more with these two characters.

Loved this short story and am hankering for more. My wish is that Lee Child could write faster as I am always wanting more of Reacher.  However, I'll take whatever I can get in between novels!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Reacher and now I want more Heller, too.

Only started it a little so far -- I'm having trouble adjusting to another writer's voice mixed in with Lee Child and Jack Reacher. Don't know what I will think by the end, but it's worth the buy. It's Lee Child.
