About the Author

Linda Bachand is the author of "Grove & Garden" and resides in the Seattle area. She is also an award-winning graphic designer, creating material for both print and web. She wrote the recipe content, designed the cover and layout, did the photography and food styling for the book as well, a natural extension of her graphic design background. She has package design and food styling experience with nationally recognized food companies, as well as their export and private label divisions. Her culinary preferences have been influenced by her travels throughout the U.S., Canada, France, Italy, Mexico and Finland to a great degree. Creating desserts and pastries is a favorite area of her cooking. Her book is written to appeal to foodies, those interested in entertaining, cookbook collectors and anyone wanting to try new recipes with a unique ingredient or two. In addition to her travels, she enjoys golf and can be found on many of the driving ranges and golf courses in the Seattle area. She is also an avid cookbook collector and enjoys haunting bookshops for new finds. "Grove & Garden" is her first published cookbook.
