Multiple Intelligence Case Study
This was a case study done on a six-year-old girl based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences. This study demonstrates the importance of determining children's strengths and weaknesses and tailoring their learning geared toward their strengths, as well as additional ways to begin developing their weaknesses. Although this study was done on one child, the model of this study can help anyone determine their child's intelligences and develop activities to enhance their learning.

From the book:

In these difficult times, with all eyes on the teachers and the pressure of passing the state mandated tests, one could easily pass up the opportunity to include Gardner’s intelligences. However, that would be a costly mistake at the expense of the children... ...children absorb information in varying ways, and providing intelligence-based teaching can help reach a very high percentage of children... ...Students will be motivated and, in turn, learning will flourish, and most definitely be at its best.
