All's fair when you love the God of War.

For 17-year-old Mia Ahlström, a world ruled by order is the only world she allows. A lifetime of chore charts, to-do lists and study schedules have helped earn her a spot at Redwood State University's engineering program. And while her five year plan includes finding her very own happily-evah-aftah, years at an all-girls boarding school left her feeling woefully unprepared for keg parties and co-ed extracurricular activities.

So nothing surprises her more than catching the eye of Tyr Fredriksen at her first college party. The imposing Swede is arrogantly charming, stubbornly overprotective, and runs hot-and-cold in ways that defy reason . . . until Mia learns that she's fallen for the Norse God of War; an immortal battle deity hiding on Midgard (Earth) to protect a valuable Asgardian treasure from a feral enemy. With a price on his head, Tyr brings more than a little excitement to Mia's rigidly controlled life. Choosing Tyr may be the biggest distraction--or the greatest adventure--she's ever had.

Mama’s Thoughts: Bende’s back with a vengeance! This new saga is even better than Elsker, and if you can believe it, hotter too. I just adored Mia- she’s sure of herself, even if she’s a bit afraid of change and disorder, she’s kind and funny as Hel, plus she knows she’s pretty and not constantly talking down on herself, nor is she boastful. Just a great gal who I’d love to be friends with, or girl friends if I was Tyrsomely. Alas I am not, but *whew* talk about heat factor. Although, since we’re being honest here, as the good goddess Lorna would say, #HenrikismyHottie. He’s just got the whole Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne thing happening and it’s delicious. Anyway back to this awesome book you should totally read…….yeah Perfekt Order has something for everyone. Mystery, Action, Suspense, Romance, Gods and Goddesses and even some slimy critters. Come on and grab your copy to start the Aere saga! ***Free arc provided in exchange for honest opinion.***

I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. The first book in the Ære Saga is an appealing tale of adventure, Norse mythology and love. Tyr, the God of War, is a captivating, sexy character with an unexpected uncertainty and gentleness about him that contrasts and compliments his tough "God of War" persona. The author manages to illustrate his vulnerabilities without making him seem any the less tough. Mia, is a human college student with an independent and somewhat OCD streak, she becomes embroiled in the Asguardian's world when she is attacked by one of his enemies. The chemistry between Mia and Tyr is palpable from the start and the need to see how their relationship develops keeps you from putting the book down. Set on Earth, it is a love story that blends Norse mythology very effectively with modern times. Though Mia and Tyr's story is foremost in the book, you can not help becoming attached to the secondary protagonists. Brynn, Henrik, Elsa, Forse and Freya are all likeable characters that add depth to the story and that leave you wanting to hear more about their lives. Perfekt Order is a quick, easy read with humour, romance, adventure and some great characters. A excellent start to the series and worth reading wether you like Norse mythology or not.

***ARC received in exchange for an honest review - Sanne / Scandalous Book Blog*** What would you expect when you are about to read a story about the God of War? Mischief and mayhem of course! Does this book deliver these? Oh yeah and much much more. Not only did I cry like a baby but I also swooned and laughed. S.T. Bende can make mythology interesting for even the hardest disbeliever. Mia is your average college student working her way to greatness. Little did she expect to stumble upon a real life God on her way to the top. Tyr... The stuff that dreams are made of! The God of War is stubborn, naughty and overprotective. His shields are way up but when Mia comes along even he has a hard time to withstand the temptation and his true chance of love. Add the big bad wolf and a whole crew of Norske friends and you god a fairy tale to remember! Are you ready to battle it out with war? The battle will commence... Soon! ;) -------- Side note ------ This book was so different from the Elsker saga yet you could see some comparisons. I felt that this one might feel a little closer to the real world. It’s not immediately boom and that’s it. Here we really felt the insecurities they both had. Oh and S.T. Bende I got a bone to pick with you young lady! You did not tell me that the next book was going to be “...” Or I might just have been not so attentive to notices the posts. But that’s besides the point! ;-)

I was lucky to receive this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I truly enjoyed reading “Perfekt Order” by S.T. Bende, the first book of The Aere Saga. Mia is a spunky, very organized mortal woman who falls for the overly protective and extremely hot Norse God of War, Tyr. I love reading the dynamic of Mia and Tyr relationship. Mia and Tyr have a shaky start to their relationship but soon develops into a romance of the realms. I truly enjoyed watching their relationship grow as they begin trusting each other by letting go of their fears and working together. Brynn and Henrik are strong supporting characters and compliment Mia and Tyr. I fell in love with Henrik as I did with Tyr. Brynn is the best friend any girl would be lucky to have. I can’t wait to read their story in the next book. Overall the story is full of action, adventure, love, and surprises that will draw you in and keep you on your toes throughout the entire book. S.T. Bende did an amazing job bringing us Mia and Tyr’s story. I highly recommend this fun, adventurous story.

Overall: 4.5 Stars I loved the Elsker Saga, so I was really looking forward to this new series by ST Bende, still set in Norse mythology, but with a new set of people and gods. And I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. I loved Tyr and Mia's story! Mia's arrival at her new college was no gentle transition. Right off the bat, she is thrust into some crazy action, proof positive that this was going to be a fun and exciting read. And it was. Journeying with Mia as she tries to figure out what's going on around her was great, particularly because Mia was such an orderly, schedule-obsessed, black-and-white person. Mythology coming to life wasn't even on her radar. So watching how different things were revealed to her really kept the story interesting and exciting. There were great twists and turns - I mean, really great twists and turns. This storyline kept me intrigued and guessing. I felt just as invested in the outcome of this story as Mia and Tyr; just as attached to this fantastic group of Norse gods and their futures. Even through the last few chapters I was kept on my toes, and I loved it. With all this excitement, of course there was romance. How could there not be romance when a fantastic girl like Mia meets a hunk like Tyr? Even though Tyr was not the most forthcoming guy in the beginning, I could totally feel the chemistry between these two. But I actually liked that Tyr was hard to read in the beginning because I liked the more gradual approach to their relationship. I loved how they got to know each other and how much they ended up having in common. They were a great match. The only thing I didn't love (and actually made me hold back half a star in my rating), was Mia's age. I know it's not a big deal, but I would have personally felt better if she was 18. It may not make much of a difference with the "deity-age-gap" but that's just me. Otherwise, I loved them, loved the friendship they had, loved the strength they brought out of each other, loved the trust they built into each other, and loved the love they felt. Plus, there are some other truly fabulous characters. With Henrik and Brynn, you can't go wrong. These two are the cutest, and I cannot wait to read more about them. Heather and Charlotte are great roommates, bring normalcy to the gods and Mia's life. And then there are some other gods we meet, that I won't reveal, but I really loved, and cannot wait for more from them as well. The casting was fantastic, and made this story that much better. I loved 'Perfekt Order' and cannot wait for the rest of this series.

Cheese and crackers! ST Bende has once again crafted utter Perfektion in this hilarious (be prepared to snort aloud), YA (slightly more NA in my opinion) tale about maintaining balance through negotiation, opening to others (as well as risks and flaws), revealing secrets, embracing change, and of course accepting love. Mia, a slightly OCD girl is already struggling to maintain her peaceful order when she starts her new college life on the west coast. Her new roommate Brynn (a bubbly firecracker of a best friend) pulls Mia into her little Swedish group of TA/engineer/frat boy Henrik (he’s the next book; thank the gods, we get more of him!) and Tyr, the domineering, bossy and drop-dead-gorgeous goliath of a man. But when Mia’s brother tells her to live a little, he probably didn’t mean for that to involve other Realms, avenging monsters, space guns, and relationships with Norse gods! I enjoyed following the developing play between the girl who makes chore schedules and the man who organizes his kitchen cabinets as they struggled to find balance between their controlling personalities, especially with the overprotective Tyr in an internal battle over Mia’s involvement in his life. I’m a fan of Norse mythology, and the twists that ST Bende creates with them are always scintillating, though this is by far my favorite of hers… Well, at least until the next Ære book. I laughed (hard), I cringed, I worried, I whooped, and I swooned. I’ve dog-eared every few pages as ‘favorite quote’ or ‘best scene’… and I had to make room on my book boyfriend list for Tyr (and his ego). Highly recommend. Jeg elsker denne boken!

Perfekt Order is just Perfekt! I fell in love with this story, the places it took me and the characters in it. Mia is an amazing lead and she handles her God of war like a champ! Tyr has a hard time accepting his fate but once he does, he rocks it with many swoon worthy moments. Henrik and Brynn are amazing as well and I can't wait to find out how their story unfolds. S.T. Bende your writing rocks and I love the wonderful places your words take me.

I was given an ARC for an honest review of Perfekt Order. I always love reading S.t. Bende books. She does an amazing job capturing what I would call an old fashioned romance, perfectly. I love her spin on Norse mythology and her way of making you fall for and drool over these Gods she writes about. In Perfekt Order, we meet Mia Ahlstrom. Dont let her beauty and brains fool you into thinking shes all looks. She's got mad skills! She's good in the kitchen, with a gun and a fishing pole. Lets not get into how good of a skier she is. Mia arrives in California to attend college and right away the adventure begins. On a morning run through the woods, Mia is attacked by something, and someone she swears she saw comes to her rescue. At least thats what she thinks happened but when she wakes up there's no evidence of an attack and her roommate Brynn has found her passed out in the woods. Chalking it up to low blood sugar mixed with exercise, Mia pushes it aside but doesnt forget. At a party with her house mates, Mia meets Brynns gorgeous friends Tyr Fredriksen and Henrik Andersson. Mia and Tyr strike up a conversation getting to know each other. Mia seems to feel the sparks but Tyr leaves without asking her out. If she only knew, she wasnt the only one who felt those sparks but there is a reason Tyr didnt ask her out. Tyr comes with a lot of baggage because of his dangerous job, but when you're the Norse God of War, Im sure danger doesn't just exsist at work. The more Mia hangs out with Brynn, Henrik and Tyr, the more she realizes what actually happened in the woods and that there's more to everything than she knew. *Dies* I love a good ole hottie hunky man!! Gods bless S.t. for bringing us these awesome stories that whisk us away from everyday life. She is very good at spinning a tale that makes our hearts swell and melt.

But kind of turned into a bodice buster ... the romance that happened so quickly to 17 year old seemed unrealistic to me. The Nordic lore was interesting though, and writing was overall good.

ST Bende just has a way with words! I instantly fall in love with her characters! This story was very well detailed with Norse facts (but not overkill) and descriptions that you could just picture scenes in your head! This was full of humor, action, romance, and great food ideas that I want to research and try. :D I loved this part and had me chuckling just envisioning the scene! I'm sure I'd have thought and said the same thing! "Here's the thing." He took a deep breath. "I'm a Norse god." "Of course you are. Look at you." Talk about stating the obvious. It wasn't quite insta-love either. Some stories, the characters fall in love in a week and are telling the other they love them etc. Perfekt Order had a nice build-up in the romance department. Their first kiss? *fans myself* Tyr is protective, sweet, sexy, stubborn, and loyal to those he cares for. Mia is smart, can take care of herself even though she's mortal, and very loyal, not to mention stubborn just like Tyr! I really loved her independence! Get a flat tire? She can take care of herself and change it on her own. The secondary characters were just as awesome as the main characters! I can't wait to see more on Jason, Brynn, Henrik, Elsa, Force, Freya, Heather, and Charlotte! I also loved how ST mentioned some of the Asgard crew! Maybe we'll see some of them in later stories! No, you don't have to have read the Asgard series in order to read this new series either. All in all, this was a great read! Received an ARC for an honest review.

This book is so beautifully written. I loved how descriptive S.T. Bende was with the scenery, the characters, and basically everything in the world of this book. The suspense has a really great build-up each time a battle happens and that first scene when Mia was attacked had me on the edge of my seat. There's also some really great humor in this book, which I think was really needed with how serious the story could become at times. I loved how the title, and even just the word perfekt, was used throughout the story. Like I mentioned before, every element in this book is really well balanced and I really liked that there wasn't too much of one thing. I think I can sum up what I thought and felt for this book in one word: PERFEKTION!

If you like a sweet, smart brave, generous young lady. If you like a strong, overprotective, incredibly handsome, brave man, who happens to be a Norse God this is the book for you. I loved the book; ST Bende did an an amazing job. She brought the characters to life. I feel like i know them. This book has good vs evil, incredible love & friendships. She made me laugh, feel incredible sorrow, then happiness. Loss and sacrifice. What side will win? You will have to give this amazing book a read. 5 well deserved stars.

I received an ARC for an honest review . really enjoyed this book! I love S.t's Elsker Saga and this one is shaping up to be just as amazing! I really like Mia and Tyr. I like the way that Mia reacted when she found out who Tyr is, she thought about it and made a choice. I like that she struggled a bit with it. I also like that Tyr explains why he is so protective of her and isn't just all 'me man, you woman.' They compliment each other well and I loved reading about them. His concerns for her safety are legitimate, but he also takes the time to help her defend herself. I also cannot wait to read the rest of this series - I can't wait to find out more about them! I highly recommend this book!!!!

Wow! What a great start to another series for S.T. Bende. I absolutely loved her first series, Elsker and wondered if this new series would live up to the last one – I am thrilled to say this book was amazing. The characters are so loveable that I would like to have them as my friends. Mia is quirky, strong and adorable. Tyr is an awesome leading man or should I say Norse god. I loved how S.T. Bende wove their relationship into a thrilling story of adventure and suspense. I completely fell in love with two other characters, Brynn and Henrik. They are both Norse gods as well and are both incredible. Brynn was fun, loyal and amazing and Henrik was the sexy, nerdy guy everyone loves. I can’t wait for their story in the next book. I completely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, easy read with an awesome story-line, adventure and a little romance.

I was given an ARC for an honest review of Perfekt Order. I read a lot of adult romance novels, so when I come across an author that can peak my imagination like S.T. can I am excited. Her books are perfekt for readers who want romance without the explicit sex scenes taking up most of the book which shortens the plot or leaves you with no plot at all. I am pleased to say Perfekt Order is a fun ride. It is a bit choppy in the beginning but keeping reading... it gets better as she develops the characters and their true nature is revealed. Mia is a strong young lady who's self confidence is fragile. Tyr strength is over bearing at times but they find their way together. I love that she held strong to allowing herself time to explore their relationship and that he respects it and keeps her focused. Over all loved the book and plan to keep reading. So enjoy! These are perfekt books start for a young lady with who wants to start reading this type of fiction.
