It’s convention season, and social media was all over the two biggies this week: one in Cleveland, and one in San Diego. We’ll stay away from the former, and should have some more on the latter next week.

Even my mom doesn’t read my stuff, so I’m not entirely convinced.
Finally, we said farewell to Garry Marshall this week to legendary producer Garry Marshall. He wasn’t an author, strictly speaking, though he somehow found time to complete a couple of memoirs. He was definitely a writer, however, with television and film credits that go back almost six decades.
