About the Author

Willie Grady is a Mississippi-born, New-Orleans-tempered, Miami-seasoned writer, photographer, filmmaker, and self-taught chef whose comfort zone is a Venn diagram of cast-iron skillets, airport terminals, and midnight anime marathons. Raised on the soulful cooking of his grandmother Annie Mae, Willie learned early that food is a love language—and a passport to every culture worth tasting.


After photographing street food in Osaka, frying plantains in Barranquilla, and smoking brisket while lounging in his Florida balcony hammock, Willie distilled those journeys into Don’t Touch My D**k, Don’t Touch My Knife—a genre-bending cookbook that pairs bold recipes with playlists, cannabis notes, and unapologetic humor. Anthony Bourdain’s fearlessness, Dave Chappelle’s punch-line truth, and a lifelong INFP imagination all stir the pot.


When he isn’t sautéing or shooting moody black-and-white portraits, Willie hosts the forthcoming podcast The Most Interesting Nobody, writes philosophical poetry on modern society, and drafts several fantasy novels, graphic-novels, and a variety of other literature. His guiding philosophy: a sharp knife and an open mind get you everywhere.
