Important Notice: Recent Changes to Customer Communications Preferences

As of August 2004, Barnes & Noble.com account holders who have opted to receive communications from Barnes & Noble.com and its trustworthy third parties have greater flexibility to manage their Communications Preferences. Previously, opted-in account holders were limited to a single communications choice (Yes or No). Now opted-in account holders have six different options to choose from:

Source of Communication
1.   Receive notices about special offers, events, and new products and services from Barnes & Noble.com and its affiliates (e.g., Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Barnes & Noble Membership).
2.  Receive notices about special offers, events, and new products and services from other trustworthy third parties.
Method of Communication
3.   Receive the above communications by email.
4.  Contact me by postal mail.
5.  Contact me by telephone.
Format of Email
6.   Send me email by one of these formats: HTML (text and images), text only, or no preference (best format for my system).

Please Note: If an account holder previously opted-out from receiving communications from Barnes & Noble.com and trustworthy third parties, such account holder's election remains unchanged: accounts that were designated not to receive marketing communications will continue not to receive these communications.
