The author provides all of the stitches that are essential for creating each project, and there’s also additional information that shows readers how to change yarn colors and even make small pompoms for the clothes. Readers will discover that creating four similar patterns is a good way to refine their skills or practice new ones. Some readers, especially the ones newer to creating amigurumi, may find themselves wanting more in-progress pictures of each project so that they can gauge whether they’re doing things correctly. But the book otherwise presents solid instructions.
