Meet the Author

I started writing fiction at the age of 12 for my friends. Of course, in those days, I was the heroine, saving dashing rock stars from their ruin. Now, somewhat older, hopefully wiser, I decided to finally put down my ideas on paper and write about a heroine not unlike myself (personality wise, certainly not realistically). After finding my own soulmate (which is just another word for the only man willing to live with me), and having two beautiful children, I'm changing my stay-at-home mom status to part-time author. Which isn't to say that my days are not still filled with laundry and dishes, but I've also added writing. I have many plans for my heroine, Ginny. She will meet matchmakers, pirates, cowboys and maybe a vampire or two. If I've read it in a romance novel, you can bet, Ginny will live it in an upcoming novel. Thank you for all the support from my family and friends. Without my overly encouraging husband, none of these books would have been written. And I really appreciate my fellow neighborhood mommies. They make the best editors in the world.

I liked this book. I loved the twists & turns her life took in this story. What I don't like is not knowing what's going on in her 'real' life. This needs a couple of allusions to keep the reader attached to the main story line. Getting in an accident & suddenly living in the trashy romance novels you've been reading. Totally cool. Leaving the reader hanging, not knowing if they survived the accident...MEAN!

I really enjoyed this book but I absolutely hated the ending. Read 500+ pages wondering if Ginny would get back to where she belonged only to have the book just end. I wanted a better ending.

Not a very engaging story. The writing style feels like a teenager wrote it. If you want a good tome travelling romance book set in scotland read the outlander series by diana gabaldon. Those are some good books.

I put off reading this book after I downloaded it, but now I wish I hadn't! I cried twice... could have been hormones but I'm blaming the story. *WARNING* You will want to buy the whole series.

The book was quite the experience. I loved the idea of being sucked into a romance novel so our heroin can learn about herself. Most people in these reviews seem to dislike the ending, but it left me hungry for more. The ending wasn't as abrupt as one might think because the story ends, just like any other novel, and then adds a cliff hanger. It was quite refreshing really.

Although the story premise is tried and true, the level of writing left a lot to be desired. For me, the story wasn't enough to overcome the amateurish prose.

This is a fun twist on a regular romance. The author is easy to follow and is quite funny to read.

I really enjoyed this series but was so dissappointed to not have the final book available yet. Thought it would be a ho hum story and was pleasantly surprized to find it so interesting. Glad Ginny stands up for doing the right thing and against social injustice

21st century woman who has had several sex partners goes to Scottland Highlands in the distant past and has sexual encounter with the hero while the body she has is still a virgin. I would not want my daughter or other who plans to keep virginity until marriage to think this is a good idea...

This is one of the best stories that I have read in a long time. I really did think that I had it figured out, more than once. I love the way Ginny still has her 21st. century sass! Great book that I could not put down!!!

This book was very poorly written. I agree with a previous post that it seems to have been written by a teenager. It's very immature in the plot and writing style. It has such potential to be a great series, but I doubt I will look to the others in the series as my 6-year-old has better writing skills. She dedicates this book to her husband who nagged her to get the book written. She should have first taken some writing classes before endeavoring to do so. If you do choose to read this book, skip the first 3 chapters as they have nothing whatever to do with the rest of the book, and they are not referred to one iota throughout the rest of the story. Be warned that the author switches tenses and jumps from topic to topic in a very choppy manner, instead of having smooth transitions. The vernacular once the heroine time travels/body jumps (what exactly is going on??), doesn't change and she has the characters from a different time period thinking and speaking like someone from today. There was obviously very little research done for this book. Yes, it's a romance. But if you're going to choose a time period other contemporary to write about, DO YOUR RESEARCH! There were so many things that annoyed me about this book. I cannot believe how many positive reviews this book received. If you want well-written stories of time-travel, try the Outlander series, or anything written by Lynn Kurland.

Very nice storyline, great character development, good twists. Will probably read it again, which is not usual for me.

What a fun story! After we get through the obligatory first few chapters getting to know Ginny's modern life woes, once she's transported into the romance book, it's gets really interesting. Ginny is aware she's in a romance book and that perspective is refreshing and funny. This is the first romance book I've read where I was actually caught up in the action scenes--the author did a nice job writing those. The sex scenes were steamy, just wish there were more, lol. I cried, laughed, and yelled at parts in this book. Kinda sad Ginny has to leap around romance book to romance book, but the storyline is interesting so I'm in for the next book in the series.

Good book, keeps you wanting to read it, but the end is very disapointing.

I really enjoyed this story. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really did not care for the Jamaican trip chapters in the beginning. Ugh... The only thing that kept me from dismissing this book entirely was the need to see how she made her transition into her new life. Once that happened, I was sucked into the story and could not put it down! I wish the story would have included the events of the next 6 months (wink, wink) instead of where it did. Even so, I can not wait to read about the other lives ahead for Ginny!

I rather enjoyed this book. Kind of slow in the beginning, but I loved the combination of history and hot romance!
